Totally suggest Sundae Cafe to be a MUST stop for a casual drink and excellent meal. “I loved this little place that appears to be a local favorite. Best little (big) drinks to go, I tried the orange iced drink and it was blissful as I carried the huge cup down the beach. They don't cheat you on the rum. Went back for seconds and I was feeling good all evening. Very sweet staff and not overpriced,”

“I walked in thinking I could buy things and that's not the case. They were prepping for a dinner and the market. Next time I'll read better and try to make a reservation for a private dinner. Both folks were kind and understanding given my confusion. They were confused also and said they didn't have a digital footprint. I showed Ms. Korea the yelp pictures and she said they looked good. Either way I caught them at the tybee farmer's market. The caramel sticky buns w were literally the best ever. We haven't opened up the kimchi yet.”

“My husband and I went next door to the North Beach Bar & Grill- We came in around 1-2pm on a Thursday and sat at the bar outside. Staff seemed short staffed and slow. Received drinks when we arrived and then it took a while someone to come back and check on us. We both decided to go next door to the Salty Pelican and were not disappointed! The Mac n’ Cheese bites were cheesy and spicy! The chicken quesadilla was also so good! Definitely recommend!”

“Just left Boardwalk Ice Cream with my family- great spot to get Hersey hard Ice Cream near the beach.The reason for 5 stars though is not really just for the ice cream though. It is to highlight an employee, James. He was the only one working this evening, which is the Sunday of Labor Day weekend.When we got onto line it was moving slowly, but we are never in a rush so we waited it out. It was past 10 pm when we got into the store, not realizing they close at 10. Once we were inside we noticed that James was the only employee, both scooping and checking out.By the time we got up to get our ice cream is was about 20-30 min past their closing, again we only knew this because at that point it seemed very overwhelming how consistently long the line was and James being the only person there.Our family communicated with the family at the end and they let people know the open sign was off- although the line ahead of even the last family was going to keep James there for a while (still roughly 20 people on line)Long story short: James is an outstanding employee, he has standards and rules that his employer put in place that he did not want to break and did not, even in a very stressful situation. So 5 stars to him.1 star to the management and owners of the establishment. To leave any employee to fend for themselves on a holiday weekend at one of the closest stores to the most popular part of Tybee Beach is horrible. Support your employees better.”

“Just want to say.. been in Savannah for like 14 yrs now, and only now stopped at the Quarter. I’ve never heard anything but good btw. A quick stop, didn’t even drink what I ordered. But got a burger to go, and some onion rings and jalapeño poppers. This review is to say, if you haven’t been there yet, do so! Great place! The burger is awesome! Can’t wait to go back when I have time to actually hang out! ??”

“Food was excellent. Grilled salmon, out of this world. Shrimp Po boy sandwich, delicious.Remember it is a BAR an grill. Would not recommend for small children just because of bar. Ppl was very nice an curious to the small children eating but not witnessed in full swing happy hour. Use caution. Waitress stood her ground from unwanted advancement from a customer. She shot his advancements down cold! Nicely but firmly. Way to go girly. Very professional! Need more waiting staff beside one running entire facility. Eventually help did come but she had already serviced 90% of customers herself.”

“I'm allergic to shellfish (can't risk cross-contamination), so I went straight to the Land Lubbers menu section. The Stingburger is listed as 1/2 pound Angus beef (my note: that usually means pre-cooked weight). The hamburger I received rivals anybody else's in taste and size. I'm pretty sure my burger was 7 oz.! I am not in the habit of taking pictures of my food, so I have none. My husband got the Fried Oyster Platter. He said they were large and very good. We sat outside because we had the doggo with us. Initial service was a little slow but picked up. There were no desserts tonight because they were all still frozen. Crew earlier in the day forgot to get them out of the freezer before they left. Prices for some things seemed high, but the food was delicious.”
